Expanded Annual Residency Awards Presented to Faculty, Trainees

BMH-NM Graduate Medical Education toasted the end of another successful academic year with the annual Residency Awards Night on June 8. There was even more to celebrate this year, including the first class of graduating resident physicians and expanded awards categories for resident and faculty physicians who were recognized as going above and beyond. 

A Founders Award was established this year and highlighted the ceremony. Founding Program Director Dr. Seger S. Morris awarded the special honor to Senior Associate Program Director Dr. Jacob Whelan in recognition of his tireless efforts and dedication to establishing Graduate Medical Education at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi.
