RSVP today for Faculty Development Session December 6

All residency faculty are invited and encouraged to join a faculty development session on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. The session centers around, “Using assessments to create a culture of professionalism,” and will be led by Carmela Meyer, MBA, EdD, with Partners in Medical Education. It will be offered both virtually and in person, and lunch will be provided for those attending in person in the small conference room next to the main Graduate Medical Education classroom on the 3rd floor of the Medical Plaza One building. Virtual attendees will receive a link to the meeting the week of the session.

Dr. Meyer received her Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior from the University of Missouri in 1995, and her Doctorate in Education Leadership and Management from Capella University in 2012.  

She has over 25 years’ experience in medical education for both academic centers and community-based hospitals. Her area of expertise includes developing new GME programs, moving programs off warning status, institutional and program reviews, outcomes-based curriculum and assessment, faculty and professional development, as well as a strong background in GME finance.
