Ramsey Frey Turner, MD

Dr. Ramsey Turner is a native of Jackson, MS. After obtaining dual bachelors degrees in Chemistry and History from the University of Mississippi Honors College, she obtained her doctorate of medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She trained in Internal Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.

She moved to Oxford, MS, and joined the SCP  hospitalist group at Baptist Memorial Hospital in 2020 following the completion of residency. She is double board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine.

Dr. Turner currently serves as the Medical Director of the hospitalist group and recently was recognized by SCP with their Excellence in Clinical Leadership Award - an award given to the top 2.5% of medical leaders who exemplify exceptional skill, character, and performance.
